Our sea freight service

FCL (Full Container Load)

FCL involves the shipment of goods that fill an entire container, for businesses with large volumes.

LCL (Less than Container Load)

LCL is for shipments that do not fill a full container. It allows multiple shippers to share container space, with the benefits of low upfront costs and flexibility.

For shipping large machinery and vehicles. They are driven onto the vessel and secured for transit.

Reefer containers

Refrigerated containers, designed to transport goods that need to stay at a controlled temperature throughout their journey.

Consolidating shipments

Combining smaller shipments into one full container load (FCL), which saves cost and minimises handling fees.

FAQ

Common questions

What is sea freight?

Sea freight, or ocean freight, involves shipping goods by sea. This method is used for large and heavy shipments, transported in containers on cargo ships.

What is included in the rate?

Ocean freight, container handling, customs taxes, duties, warehouse storage, documentation and port charges, pickup and final delivery to the door are included.

How long does sea freight take?

Transit times depend on the origin and destination, the shipping route, port conditions, customs procedures and the type of service. For India it typically takes 55 days or more, and for Nigeria typically 90 days or more.

How do I track my shipment?

Track your shipment using the container number, booking number or bill of lading on the vessel carrier's website.

Do you handle customs for sea freight?

Yes. Documentation and customs clearance are part of the service, coordinated with the shipping so your container is not held up. See our customs clearance page for more.

Can I ship hazardous goods by sea?

Some hazardous materials can be transported by sea, but they must meet the applicable shipping, packaging, labelling and documentation requirements. The requirements depend on the type of hazardous material and the countries involved.
